EDWARD S ROGERS SR DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING TOP STUDENT AWARD

This November, I was awarded the Edward S Rogers Sr Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Top Student Award. This was awarded to me for being one amoung the top three student based on academic standing in freshman Computer Engineering.
This award holds a very special place in my heart, as it is an embodiment of my interests, curiosity and hard-work. Along side this award, I was an Honor Student and given The Wallberg Scholarship.

TIC - TAC - TOE

Four lines are all it takes for you and your friend to escape bordom. This elementary game was my first programming project. I have created two versions of this game, one using python and the other using C++.

SNAKE GAME

The infamous Nokia's Snake Game in which a snake roams through a black background, looking for fruits to eat until it fills up the board. The GUI was designed using Python's Tkinter module.

MINESWEEPER

A classic game that accompined windows laptops since the 90's, Minesweeper elegant gameplay caught my eye. With Python's Tkinter library, I designed a GUI that resambled the game's classic roots. I proceded to add my logic to bring the game to life.

I designed the game using C with my logic to implement the game mechanics. The added single player mode took this project to the next level. Using algorithms such as alpha-beta pruning and minimax, I implemented an AI bot into my project.

Using HTML5 and CSS3, I decided to create a online page that shines some light on me. This project is a reflection on my creativity(through the design) and my literary efficiency(through the content).

The Periodic Table, one of the marvels in science, has always marveled me on its elegance. So, I decided to create a complete interactive and responsive Web Application on the elegant table. This was my first full-stack web project, with front-end (HTML,CSS,JS), back-end (Django), and a data server.
